Resin Bound Driveway Installation
Our client wanted a modern driveway solution that combined style, practicality, and durability. To achieve this, we installed a premium Oyster Pearl resin bound surface, complemented by elegant Plaspave Sorrento granite stone edging.
By carrying out a complete excavation and rebuilding the driveway from the ground up, we were able to create a robust, fully permeable system that provides excellent drainage and long-lasting performance.
Full Excavation & Ground Preparation
Every successful resin driveway begins with proper preparation. We started by excavating the existing surface to create the ideal foundation for the new installation. This stage is essential for ensuring long-term stability and preventing future movement.
Following excavation, a high-quality geo-textile membrane was installed to help prevent weed growth and improve the overall stability of the driveway structure. We then laid and compacted a durable hardcore sub-base, creating a strong and reliable foundation capable of withstanding daily vehicle traffic.
A porous tarmac layer was installed over the prepared sub-base. This forms an essential part of the resin bound system, allowing water to drain naturally through the surface while providing a stable base for the resin application.
Premium Granite Edging Installation
To provide a clean and attractive border, we installed Plaspave Sorrento granite stone edging around the perimeter of the driveway.

The final step of this process was the installation of a beautiful Oyster Pearl resin bound finish supplied by The Resin Mill.
